Los Angeles witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Fans worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area events featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy high.
